Eriko [our tour guide] is everything you could ask for in a tour guide! She really went above and beyond in answering every little question and accommodating every request, all while impressively keeping us on schedule. She was incredibly organized, and her thorough explanations of the maps and itineraries meant that we could really maximize the free time we had. I cannot stress enough how invaluable she was, and I deeply appreciate everything she did for our trip. Thank you so much Eriko!
I wanted to give a big shout out to Roy Liao at the US location. When our flight to Japan from LAX was canceled after we have arrived at the airport. I frantically call Supera and Roy answered my call. He was very professional and handled the situation and helped us catching another flight when Japan Airlines counter only offered us the next the flight. Roy not only called me back every step of the way and he also called to make sure if any other problems occurred I have a way to reach out to him. We are thankful how he went above and beyond and solved our situation to the best possible outcome.
We used Super Value Tours {now Supera Tours} for a trip to Japan in May/June 2019. Our guide, Miki, was excellent: very organized & super efficient in managing all our rooms, transportation, setting up meal reservations, very mindful of food allergies/preference, & giving directions to places of interest (in addition to the scheduled tour) or for transportation at the end of the tour. She was great in relaying history, culture, & whatever questions we threw her way. We stayed at very nice hotels & had impressive meals which we probably would not have afforded on our own. The itinerary was great & we hit the major sites of interest plus a few extra fun stuff like dressing up in kimonos or as samurai, & a workshop on dyeing a keepsake with multi stencils. We have now joined our friends as major fans of Super Value Tours & hope to use this tour group for trips in the future.
This is an excellent tour. The activities are well thought out and interesting. The food and accommodation were top notch. Eriko was very friendly and helpful. Will be looking at doing more tours with this company in the future for sure :)
The tour gave us a nice sampling of the Kanto area and some unique Japanese experiences. There was a nice balance between historical sites, outdoor activities, and shopping and dining. The hotels we stayed at were very comfortable. Eriko went out of her way to accommodate all of our needs. This was a great value and we enjoyed every moment of our tour.
This was our first visit to Japan so we chose the Tokyo Kanto tour. It was a great introduction to Japan. Our tour guide, Eriko, was excellent overall! She did a fantastic job making all the guests feel welcomed and comfortable. She was enthusiastic and worked very hard to make sure we all had a great experience. We also learned a lot about Japanese customs and traditions.....
